still recovering, went to Concert for Kurt Friday night. Jon Stevens and Hoodoo Gurus benefit for a Helensburgh kid now a quadriplegic. Last show in the auditorium before it gets redeveloped. Have seen some sick bands here (incl Gurus first one in 88) and was absolute front row centre stage in a crazy slam-dancing moshpit. Thanks for the heads up Oompa, got a great video of Gurus encore singing Up Up Cronulla with Gal onstage with the Provan- Summons trophy. He and Flanno were both there and absolutely feeling no pain whatsoever. I reckon Gal's guns have grown with all the hoisting overhead of the trophy he's done, and both of them will need to go into rehab before pre-season training. Good to see them both smiling after some shitful years.

Had to watch the replay from all the angles to figure out just what went down there.

Like one commentator said, you can't go around Melb, you have to go through them.

That scrum move is old as the hills, like the runaround, so old everyone has forgotten it.

Another good one we used to run was 10m out, 10-20m in from touch. Half back has a big deep backline set and sells the opposition that it is going to go the open side from the scrum. The lock steps back out of the scrum and picks the ball up as the half back runs round the back of the scrum to the open side like he is a man possessed, usually resulted in the lock taking on a winger to score in the corner. This WAS back in the day when the hooker did something in a scrum.

I am disappointed Parkie. You are an avid Shark supporter but your quoting a famous Dragon's move.

Tsk tsk - into the naughty corner for you.

Seriously, they test for rec drugs 4 days after the Grand Final?

I know the kid has form, but testing that close after winning a Grand Final is plain wrong. Directly after the game before they leave the ground is fair game but two days after Mad Monday is draconian.

With his past form, he probably had something in his contract stating any time, any place, and the NRL wanted to make a point of it.

And hell, it's currently an illegal drug. Apparently a 2nd offence this year too.

Makes you wonder given the speed the Sharks have dropped him if he has indeed been on the "straight and narrow" this season as we have been led to believe or if the sharks have been in damage control mode all season and now they have passed the finish line have let him go.

yeah, they reckon clubs are putting out spot fires all the time, not everything hits the papers

the broncos are very effective at this

The news report I heard stated that he & the club were notified a fortnight ago.

Perhaps if the story didn't break he'd still be at the club.

Except when someone shits off the balcony and uses the sheets for toilet paper.

Haha Mate I took him to the semi cowgirls v sharks .

He loved it I said to him then "mate your going to see something Dad has never seen and been picked on since I was a kid "

Didn't take him to the GF he was away at his Auntys I think I might regret that in years to come!

Well the rest is History! Up up B2B....

Took the whole family to the Final. Unbelievable cauldron atmosphere at Shark Park North that night.

Was never going to miss the GF and took the whole family. My bro flew his crew down from the Sunny Coast and the fulltime photos and videos are highlights of my life.

The GF was the best atmosphere this Parra supporter living in the Shire has ever been been part of. Memory's with my son that will live with me forever.

sharks are a fair shake of a B2B title.  Injuries will decide,  at this stage the only thing preventing the storm is the fitness of the Big 3.

was out at narromine today swapping sharks stories with the locals.

you know rugby league is doing well when tabourie and narromine are talking about the sharks.

No monthly bonus for whoever scheduled Bunnies vs Dogs for tonight at ANZ Stadium, both teams been dire, at least a decent weather forecast might help get a crowd above 5000.
