You’ve never watched abc of a morning.

When michael is away they often have 3 women. One doing sport.

I watch it all the time.  Haven't often seen 2 women hosting the show.  Georgi Tunney was the fill in while the normal sports guy was on leave for a few months but he's back now.  But it's Michael and Virginia hosting, with the odd change when someone is away.  Different from what Today is doing.  Lisa Wilkinson made a point of ch9 advertising the ages of the women hosting, yet they've never done that for any of the men.

Leibman was still on Today when I last watched it.

Paul's been filling in for Michael over Xmas, so Georgi has his job again.

Wonder if she's getting the same pay as karl was...

The only person getting close to what Karl was is Koshi.  I reckon they wouldn't be getting close.  Wasn't Lisa getting half and they wouldn't budge, hence her leaving?

I like Deb Knight and Georgie (sexiest voice in tv) but it's probably a slightly risky move given how 'blokey' Karl used to try and be to attract the bogans.

Regardless of who's hosting, it's the drivel content I can't stand so I'll be sticking to the ABC.

No matter who it was written by, Lisa made a good point about the article I think. And yes, there are bigger issues in the world to deal with.

AK, why aren't you out enjoying the beaches of Vietnam? Get off Trannies.

The article was probably written from a press release, bet that happens a lot today.

Been reading lots of comments from people saying how boring a presenter Deb is.  But there's a big difference between journalism and presenting the news and being on a morning breakfast show.  You can't compare the two, the first being  less impassioned and direct.

Firstly yes I don't necessarily disagree with her point but if other women are writing stories and including women's ages then that would be a good place to start.

And secondly yes point taken. I'm off to the beach. So long suckers.

If I was a journo (particularly if female) I'd make a point of not including their ages.

I am sure the article that Lisa was referring to (and posted) was a shorten version. I read the same article the day before which did include all the ages of both the men and women.

So someone would then have actively left the men's ages out of the abridged version.

Yes very likely, could be a sizing/word count requirement. Rightly or wrongly most would be more interested in the women's age then the men.

I'm so glad that he was finally shown up for the boorish, unfunny, populist tool that he is ... and that his chickens have come home to roost on him. Always found him to be a journalist's version of Daryl Somers.

And I haven't seen him on the TV for 11 years!

But he won a gold Logie.  The most popular personality on Australian tv.

Surely that award can’t be wrong. 🥺

I always saw him as a young Bert Newton. a showman. If your first name is Carl you are a natural born trouble maker. He will be sadly missed😕

ABC's breakfast show "Get Cracken" (which admittedly airs Wednesday at 9.30pm) pulled 100k more viewers than yesterday's Today.
