2010 & 2009 Colnago flight on GraysOnline

Recommended Posts

Cyclespeed would have no interest in the auction. As they would of received their insurance payout.

That leaves mmmmmmmmmmm. The insurance company or Grays???

Anyone else like to guess?

Might be interesting to watch - nice of someone to point it out

The Medium seems to be attracting more attention - very nice toy

I am sure someone will get a bargain or make some money

Yes - be careful of the 15% to make sure it is a real bargain

Will check out closer I do not really have the cash unless the prices did not go up that much more (wish full thinking ha ha)

The Colnago Flight's are being sold on "Grays Online" by the insurance company and the auction has nothing to do with Cyclespeed.

They were however, the Flight's stolen from us 5 months ago.

Niall25 is not Cyclespeed.

Ironpro,

I am guessing that insurance was paid to cyclespeed for the stolen bikes, and then the bikes were later recovered. Which means that the bikes went to the insurance company because they had already covered cyclespeed for the loss.

I assume they were recovered. I would like to know the story on their recovery. Did they caoture the baddy/ies?

If insurance company had already paid Cyclespeed, well they (Cyclespeed) can't double dip and get the bikes back and the insurance payout.

So then insurance company sells bikes to reduce their losses after payout out to Cyclespeed.

BTW ironpo are you going list your bike frame set with Graysonline?

Quick summary:

The bikes were stolen in a robbery (very similar circumstances to robberies at two other bike stores). The thief broke in and knew what he wanted as only the two Colnagos were pinched. I put a claim through the insurance company and was covered for the bikes. A few months later I got a call from the police letting me know that they has caught the thief in a drugs raid where they recovered a pile of drugs and a pile of stolen stuff (including the bikes). I rang the insurance company and let them know about the recovered bikes, they are selling them through Grays Online. I understand the crook is still in jail.

Just to let people (if you haven't guessed it already )

zaneo & niall25 are either

a.) coincidentally using the same computer at similar times or

b.) the same person

You can cut the shit and post honestly you know!

It will go down a whole lot better.

Was a tad interested in the small one, but didnt get time to go and inspect, and decided would have to pass.

But wondering, apart from our new ventriloquists, are the bikes in good condition? I.e no dings in the frame?

Blocked at work, what did they go for?

I think the small one went for about $2600 (+ buyers premium) and the medium one was about $6000...

The small one sounds like a bargain...

Mental note: never buy anything from Grays Online due to dishonest behaviour......

Niall25: Please let your boss know of the excellent marketing you have done for Grays..... I am sure they will be proud of you.

Edit: My comment is made in reference to Niall above who says that he works for Grays and deliberately did not disclaim this until after the auction had finished. His mate who went to see the bike, also works there...

If you had any brains or money you would have kept it quiet and purchased it your self. Says alot about why you work in a warehouse

As opposed to your self confessed brilliant prank

"I work in the warehouse"

"And my mate that works in the warehouse"

2/10

How about you put your edited post back so everyone can see how brilliant you are!

For those that missed this post. It went something like this.

I can now reveal that I infact work for grays online in thewarehouse. And the other trolls in this thread are my mates in the warehouse trying to reveal where I'm from.

zaneo / niall25 (both GraysOnline employees)

The only thing that kept the original post /sale thread up was the fact that Otter verified the sale was real. Apart from that the original thread read as either a scam or a beat up sale. Both of which would get deleted.

Then having a fake user (which by the way I new about straight away hence my saying so)

If in future you wish to post up anything from future sales then sell it honestly or don't bother, it will get deleted and/or your user's banned for spamming.

It's really a simple concept, read the pinned thread regarding selling items.

You might not care but you have done your employer no favours and gives them a bad reputation. As any further threads done in this manner will only have GraysOnline not welcome to post.

ps:what Koko wrote (for memory) is pretty much what one of the threads contained.

Re: The small Colnago. I was actually the winning bidder. Its a sweet bike HOWEVER the front wheel is dinged and cracked ! This wasn't in the product description. It was missed. Whats the story now w.r.t recourse to anyone?? (the wheels go for $2500 a set).

Now the auctions over you won't see them here. Use one of the contact avenues above and contact them direct.
