    Creating maps

One of the many jobs I have to do to put events on is create maps of the courses we put together. Not just for the punters, but also for TA as part of the sanctioning applications, as well as local authorities etc. Currently I use Map My Ride to create the route, then copy a screen shot into MS Paint and add any arrows, text etc I need to provide as much detail as I can. I use free software for this and while reasonably effective, it's slow, clunky and the product at the end just doesn't look all that professional. Does anyone out there know of any programs, either free or reasonably priced, that I could use to make my job easier while also producing a quality, easy to read map? This is an example of what I currently end up with.
  2. How do you know if the chain breaker you have would work on your 10sp chain ?. I have one that I have never used (bike tool box for a present) . Going to teach myslelf to replace my chain. Is it a case of, if it works it works ? I saw some where that different tools for different chains ? I presume I will need to get new shimano chain pins to use for new chain / reconnection. Or should I just go one of those connex things?? thanks . Bike mechanic newbie
  3. Possibly should be in Tri Trade but I am trying to source the plastic tool to remove dust cap on hollowtech shimano 105 crank. I already have the BB removal tool, so do not need the combination version. Just the small plastic circle tool. Any advice ?
