Hi all, In line with the xmas thread I though I would add this as it is my go to shopping site for all things. If I could describe this site it seems to be all major companys selling off the older stock or last seasons gear. It based in the UK i think and the prices i see listed are Australian Dollars which is cool. Never had to send anything back yet. Example of stuff I have bought are: Running gear, Cycling gear, Sports shoes, Dress shoes, Pufffer jackets to name a few. When you "email' sign up, you'll get a daily email, with a run down of whats hot, but you can search almost anything. Todays brands for example are: Columbia Ski Gear, Shred Ski Gear, Bionic adventure/running clothing, Salming running,Compression, @XU, Under Armour, Fjern, Zoggs, Speedo and more. In there Sales section is: Attiq Cycling/running , Giant Cycling, HuuB wetsuits, Pearl Izumi, POC, RaphaSugoi Cycling, ZOOT..... to name a few. Zoot has lots of stuff you see in the standard Ironman Expo store ie: Zoot Trisuit - $80. Also Zoot running shoes... under 100. Explore: www.sportspursuit.com
Looks like the Mrs is keen to get me a FatBike (damn shame ) but I know next to nothing about them. My old MTB is over 12 years old and nearly dead so its good timing. It will mainly be used for beach riding as a safe option for holiday training (seven mile beach) and general tooling around. So after a cheap serviceable option. What size would I be in a Fat bike? I ride a 56cm roadie and a 54cm TT bike but not sure on MTB sizing.
Hey guys, I've been doing a bit of browsing and trying to get my head around what options I have for a new road bike in the range of $3,000-$4,000k. From what I've seen there are a few mid-range bikes that I could go for and so far I have short listed the following: - Pinarello FPQuattro Ultegra ($4,200 in Aus) - Cervelo S2 Ultegra ($4,200 in Aus) - Specialized Tarmac SL3 Expert Ultegra ($4,000 in Aus) - Wilier Granturismo 2011 ($3,900 in Aus) Are there any other bikes within this price range that I should be considering? Will I be able to get a better deal on any of these if I go online? What shops should I be looking at if I wanted to buy online? Any help would be much appreciated. Rog
Roxxii mentioned the Frugal Rouleur website (http://frugalrouleur.com/) a while ago and I used it ever since for a quick check on prices across the different online stores. I've just noticed they now have an app as well so if you have an iPhone you can download it at http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/frugal-rouleur/id528241723?mt=8 PS: I have no affiliation with any of this stuff, this is just a public service announcement.
