    New Clown Shoe Required

G'day all Have a couple of OLD pairs of Hoka Stinson 3 which were/are awesome for me. I also have a pair of Hoka Clifton 4 which are.....ho hum. I can't find Stinson 3 online(discontinued) I need the mega clown shoe cushioning for my hips and muscles. The Clifton have been horrible for DOMS in comparison. Are there other brands that are very similar to the Stinson in a cushioning and mild control sense? Thanks very much ALL OPINIONS ARE VALID.

    Athletes foot

Ok, so I go sockless at triathlons. Stupid me. Now I am stuck with another round of tinea. Doing all the usual stuff, creams, peroxide foot baths, tea tree, eucalyptus, etc, etc. Even took a pill that is usually reserved for thrush! The doctor refused to prescribe an oral anti-fungal. This is interrupting my run and swim training. Cycling I might be able to handle, but apparently I am not allowed to wear shoes... What do I do with my run and bike shoes?? I cannot machine wash them, or well I do not really want to Apparently the freezer method is not proven What are my options? (Besides buying another pair of Hokas)

  15. SHOE TESTERS NEED FOR RUNNING SHOE RESEARCH JOIN THE ELIGIBILITY LIST Do cushioned running shoes prevent injuries or cause them? Does a running shoe with an elevated heel speed you up or slow you down? Researchers at the University of Newcastle are planning a series of studies to determine how basic differences in running shoe design, such as heel elevation and degree of cushioning, affect injury rates and distance running performance. A eligibility list of runners interested in taking part in this research is now being created. Runners on the eligibility list will be contacted when runners are being recruited to take part in this research. All Australian runners aged 18 or over are eligible for inclusion on the eligibility list. If you would like to be considered for inclusion in these studies, please complete the online survey accessible via this link. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Eligibility_Survey For further information please contact Dr Craig Richards E Craig.Richards@newcastle.edu.au T 0438 264 264 Complaints about this research This project has been approved by the University’s Human Research Ethics Committee, Approval No. H-2011-0244.
