  1. Saw this product online today, looks like a good product to help with safety.
  2. 17 y.o. junior who, as a poor student worked his arse off and saved for 12 months and bought himself a high end Pinnarello with all the nice bits Di2 blah, blah. Pack comes down last week, he is one of a few who hit the ground and then got ridden over. Anyway amongst the damage the rear stay is cracked. He was initially told it was a W/O and he is understandably devastated. The bike shop is going to have a go at repairing it. As his dad my question is from a safety aspect, given he survived the pack coming down at 40kph, a cracked helmet, bark off and being stiff and sore for a week, are carbon repairs now good enough that a failure is unlikely?
  3. I am heading to the Goldy in a few weeks and have been looking at some rides in the Hinterland. I have mapped one out that heads through Canungra. Just seeing if anyone knows any local knowledge on how safe the roads are through the Hinterland. Mainly the Beaudesert Nerang Rd. If anyone has any other rides around that area, would love to hear them. Cheers.
  4. UNSW are conducting a study on cycling safety, so if you're interested in taking part sign up here From their web site:
