  2. Hi guys Moving sale will have more bits and pieces to come. Argon 18 Krypton 2011 road bike, XL size. Selling it cheap for a quick sale, - $1,200. It's carbon with Shimano Ultegra group set and the last 12 months it has been sitting in the wind trainer gathering dust. It's in fantastic condition, but will need some new brake pads for the rear wheel shortly. I am 6'5 but as you can see have the seat post is at about its limit, would suit anyone over 6 foot. 4. Hey guys, I've been doing a bit of browsing and trying to get my head around what options I have for a new road bike in the range of $3,000-$4,000k. From what I've seen there are a few mid-range bikes that I could go for and so far I have short listed the following: - Pinarello FPQuattro Ultegra ($4,200 in Aus) - Cervelo S2 Ultegra ($4,200 in Aus) - Specialized Tarmac SL3 Expert Ultegra ($4,000 in Aus) - Wilier Granturismo 2011 ($3,900 in Aus) Are there any other bikes within this price range that I should be considering? Will I be able to get a better deal on any of these if I go online? What shops should I be looking at if I wanted to buy online? Any help would be much appreciated. Rog

  7. Hey all, I started looking at some options for a chick's road bike to be used in triathlons and general road riding. Don't want to spend more than $2,5-3K and it has to come with at least 105/Ultegra. Best one I've seen so far is the Giant Defy Advanced 2 with full Ultegra, interna cable routing and a mere 7,5kg - $2,700 at the local bike shop http://www.bikeaddiction.com.au/store/products/Giant-2012-Defy-Advanced-2.html Any others I should be considering? Happy with 2nd hand too! Cheers, Rog

  10. Uno Full Carbon Shimano 105 Roadie, 2008. This is much loved bike but needs to go after buying a new ride. It still looks and rides as new. It's been regularly serviced at LBS. The wheelset, chain, bar tape and tyres have all been recently replaced. There are some cosmetic straches on hoods and one on frame (image to show) caused in transit. Medium size frame. 54 cm top tube. 50 cm seat tube. Allows for 185cm ride (my height, with high seat post & big drop) but more suitable for 168cm-180cm rider. Here are a few images @ https://skydrive.liv...11593&sc=photos The Uno was Azzurri's entry level full carbon bike when purchased from PP. It's perfect for long training rides or ready to race - maybe just add a set of clip for race day to get 'aero'. I have found the ride this bike offers comfortable and performs well on flat or hilly rides. Just add your own pedals and this is ready to ride immediately.
