Year of first Tri race?

  1. Anyone heading to this? I signed-up with 40 mins to go before it closed - last minute choice. It's draft legal and having never tried that before, nor even been in a bike race, thought I'd have a crack. Any advice on racing a draft legal bike leg gratefully received.
  2. Hi All, Situation - ankle bone spurs, osteochondral injury to the talar dome, multiple ankle injuries over the last 10-11 years. Probably up to about the 3rd sprain on the same ankle. Most of the damage was done prior to triathlon, mostly skiing/telemarking and also kendo (bare wood floors, no shoes, high impact on right foot only) Thought I would ask here, hoping to get some suggestions for an Ortho that operates out of Nepean Private. CT Scans are due in today, and I am looking at surgical options to take place once the season is over (until then I will work with pain management and stick to shorter distances). Thanks for your help
  3. On at the moment. Just got a message through that Hervey Bay's Matt Hauser has just picked up his second National Title. He moved up an age this year to 15/16, so is at the bottom of his age group. He actually turned 15 yesterday. Great effort Matt. We still have Christian Wilson and Brooke Willis to go in the seniors. Christian is defending champion and Brooke came 4th last year, so high hopes again for those two.
