  3. I'll add random stuff that we no longer sell or care to stock as it comes to mind. All this stuff is new but it will be sold with all care, no warranty. These are items which I have no other sizes, are old stock, are from wholesalers I no longer deal with or are missing original packaging. All stock is at the St Ives store but can be delivered anywhere in Oz at buyers cost or for free to either Pedals Plus shop in Syndey. 2012 bike pricing

I've been looking around at 2012 bike prices and some of the price decreases etc... Looks like things are going to get a lot closer to the pricing those in the US/UK are getting. Can only be a good think IMO. Cervelo P2 and S2 are $3k and S5 starts at $4k according to my LBS Specialised Shiv starts at $3.5k says Mr Otter (a lot cheaper than I thought) Giant TCR range starts at $2.5k now Trek Madone 3 Series starts at $2k. Anyone for a nice Trek to train on? Cracking price (even though it's blue) I've been a very big knocker of prices we had to pay in the LBS. But alas, going into 2012 I'll get back in my box and say things are looking up, a long long way up! Shit, I even plan on going to knock on Mr Otter's door to order a Shiv, although the base model in my opinion only looks shite house (blue, BLUE, who the hell does that? seriously...) So what else is happening price wise other places?
  5. Hi, first post and need help. I think I've wrapped myself around the axles trying to figure out the best bike (that fits) for my first TT bike. I've had a couple of good seasons on my Cannondale Six with clip-on aero bars. I've been given the OK to purchase a bike specifically for triathlon so I'm going to take the opportunity. I have a budget of $4,000. Obviously if I don't have to spend it all then thats a good thing. I've narrowed down my search to the following: Cannondale Slice 3 (Ultegra) 2011 - I love Cannondale and it would be cool to have some commonality in the stable. I like what they produce and the Slice has lots of good reviews. The geometry looks good (for me) and the components on this one are pretty good. Cannondale Slice (Force) 2012 - Same reason as above. Not sure if the cranks and bars are of the same quality as the 2011. The wheels are a little cheaper (not a big deal as I have Dura-Ace C50's. I will need to be happy to ride with them on my roadie). Boardman Air TT 9.4 2011 (SRAM Red mix) - The components looks good, the features of the frame has plenty of aero features in it. Has 100mm deep section wheels. Could probably get it under $4K with a good spacial from Wiggle (they have had some 20% discounts recently). I understand everything is a compromise so where is it with this bike??? I understand in an ideal world I would ride each of these bikes and choose what works best for me. Unfortunatly that is not possible. This is Adelaide and noone wants to stock TT bikes. Happy to hear other suggestions. I'm one to go with what you know. Probably why I'm to scared to go away from Asics running shoes Thanks in advance.
  6. Just curious to know what Bikes are still Aus owned and/Or made? So the list off the top of my head would be Teschner Malvern Star? Apollo? Baum Any others?
