Courtney Atkinson, Ben Allen, Braden Currie, Jacqui Slack, Renata Bucher and Erin Densham; just some of the elites lining up for the Oceania Cross Triathlon Championships at Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa this month. Come and joint them for a weekend of off-road racing in the Snowy Mountains, with Oceania Titles up for grabs as well as qualifying spots for the World Cross Triathlon Championships in Sardinia in September. Oceania Champs course: 1.5km Swim, 30km MTB, 10km Trail run; Saturday 28th February. Sprint race, Junior race, Trail Runs and kids races on Sunday 1st March. With the fresh air of the mountains and a touch of altitude, the event site is at 1,100m, it promises to be a weekend of exhilarating racing with the chance to relax and enjoy the resort as well.   3. Barossa Duathlon Australian Duathlon Championships Oceania Duathlon Championships Sunday 7th October 2012. Don't miss the chance to compete in this event at the special early bird price. Early bird entries close this Sunday 16th September at midnight. Great event in it's third year in an iconic location, the Barossa Valley. Distances Short Distance 2.5km Run / 20km Cycle / 2.5km Run Long Distance and Australian Championships 10km Run / 40km Cycle / 5km Run A feature of this event is the climb up Menglers Hill as used in the Tour Down Under.
