    Body Maintenance

Prompted by RunBrettRun's thread about a nagging injury I'm interested in what people do to keep their body functionally fit - not swim, bike, run fit - but functioning well without injury and pain. I've become a devotee of yoga (never thought I'd utter those words). Twice a week and it's been a revelation. Mobility, strength, core and flexibility have all improved but more importantly my chronic back problems have all but disappeared. So what do you do? The off season might be a good chance to try something different and get the body working again nicely.
  2. Hello Everyone Yes I am ALSO excited but would like some assistance before this west aussie leaves the comfort of 27 degree weather and cloudless skies. I get very weird about food the closer to the day so does anyone have any recommendations for healthy and FRESH food places ? Bland is good too. I will be staying in the middle of town and will only have legs for transport. Also I am having issues with my calves and would like to see if I can organise a remedial massage. Does anyone have any recommendations - also close to town ? Thanks in advance. Yesterday I wasnt excited and I hated my bike. Today my bike is the best in the whole world and I am totally excited.
  3. Hi all A friend of mine is a masseuse and would like to set up a table to provide free massages for competitors at the Sunshine Coast 70.3. Does anyone know who she can contact about this?
