  1. Kinda like the old Learsport days, when LBS's use to buy the complete bike & strip 'em for their groupo... I've had good luck with the couple of Dell's we've had at work, so hoping the run continues.
  2. If you're still looking, I pulled the trigger on the below Dell all-in-one last week. If portability (taking it outside the home/office) is not a main concern, then this is pretty hard to beat value wise I reckon & gets good reviews on the Dell site. This offer expires Thursdee. -:

Donated plasma over the weekend for the 2nd time this year on their new machines. Overall time is much the same (40ish mins for moi), but the cycle/interval times are a little shorter between the draw & return. After having to cancel a number of appointments last year for various reasons, I will try to make up a few this year. Does everybody use the app & if so how do youse find it? It doesn't/didn't get very good reviews on Google Play Store, so have not installed it, but they keep directing/wanting me to go the this route.
  4. Usually, if you do the opposite of what I do, you'll do alright...
  5. All good thanks to Guzzle 👍
  6. Hey TC, when you get it, can you please post the link. Your link above is the only one I've been able to watch through the old xbox, without it freezing and constantly dropping out 😭😣 Muchas Gracias
  7. Do you need to be a FB member to be able watch this thing, or can you view as a guest?
  8. Received a Hello Fresh $60 gift card with an online Order. Entitles you to $20 off your first 3 deliveries, plus free shipping. This is no good to me, so is someone's keen, hit me up via a PM & I'll flick you the code.
  9. MD, first in best dressed, they're all yours. Flick me your addy & I'll get 'em on their way
  10. Hoka Challenger ATR trai runner (US12). In pretty good condition (small knick on top of right shoe) & I reckon these run on the narrow side of things fit wise. I Pick up from the Eastern 'burbs of Melbourne, or will throw in free postage to Trannie of good standing.

Timely thread, have literally just got off the phone from my centre & they've asked me if I could do platelets, instead of the plasma I was booked in for this Sunday. This will be first platelets, there was no mention of "triples" & was told it should be around the same time as plasma, I'm assuming this is correct!?!? Barring any issues between now & then, you can chalk up an unregistered donation to the Mexicans tally.

I hope the guy on the right is practicing drinking tea with the Queen & not throwing the Devil's Horns!?!? Acceptable variations of the Metal Fist -:
  14. Pretty sure I'll have '97 Noosa results, but won't be able to put my hands on' em until the weekend.
  15. For a great cause, I'll be more than happy to donate $85 to not drink a beer = 🤢🤮
  16. There's a new free to air business/finance channel launched Monday, channel 95 "Your Money". Haven't watched it yet it to say if it's any good or not, but might be worth a looksee. https://mediaweek.com.au/your-money-on-foxtel-and-fta-tv/
  17. Yeap, had SVT/WPW and had the ablation to fix it about 10 years ago. Was diagnosed after having 2 episodes 6 months apart. The 2 options I was given was 1. Beta blockers for the rest of my life or 2. Ablation. Given my age at the time (mid 30's) and on Dr's strong recommendation, I went option 2. In my case I think I got the all clear to resume normal activities 3 months post ablation and I've been all good ever since. A few others (must be something in the water at Nunawading Pool) in the club weren't so lucky and had multiple goes at getting theirs ablated. In those failed cases, they weren't able to induce the SVT to be able to find the accessory pathway, to be able to treat it. Sounds like you're based in Melbourne. I used Jeff Allison. Believe he also looked after Emma Carney when she was going through her heart troubles.

I'm a Reverse Iceberger (warm pool, followed by cold shower) this time of year, so I wont be joining you........I just look like a dumb can't. But I do swim with these guys on occasion over the warmer months (I tap in & out at 15 degrees), so if you don't know anybody, I can put you in touch with a couple of 'bergers if you like!?!?
  20. ST covered the frame material debate recently -: https://www.slowtwitch.com/Tech/The_Frame_Material_Debate_6881.html
  21. 2 lightly used tyres & therefore in VGC. With their fine diamond pattern tread, these were bought for the bike path & rollers, they're also tubeless ready. Free pick up from Nunawading area, or will include postage (if I can get 'em folded up again, to fit into one of those Aus. Post 3kg bag jobs) for any semi regular poster. http://road.cc/content/review/223113-maxxis-re-fuse-275-x-20-gravel-tyre
  22. I've been with Aldi (uses Telstra 4G network) for a few years & they've been fantastic. Have put family & friends onto them as well & they're all very happy too. With the data I have with work & home internet plans, I have no need for a big data plan for my phone. So with that in mind, I'm on their monthly $15 'S' plan. For that princely sum I get -: 1.5GB of data (with data roll-over), unlimited text & calls, which fully meets all my requirements. https://www.aldimobile.com.au/
