    Disc Wheels (again)

I have a 10sp pro disc for $500 in great shape apart from a few mark if you are interested.
  2. I am travelling in Europe for 4 weeks post race, thus hire...but $290 Euro is a bit of cash
  3. Anyone know of a wheel hire place for Challenge Roth Germany? I have only found 1 place and 290 Euro for a deep front and rear disc... Anyone know more options????

    No IMVoice at IMOZ

Give my $50 Friday dinner "Voucher" to Mike - Only need a few more and he will come over!! Option at Rego - Pay $50 more to have IM Mike call you home YES or NO - I bet more than 50% would pay. Done 40k to give Mike the Port Penthouse and a comfy plane ticket.
  5. Re Friday... Sad.... Nothing worse then getting a $50 voucher to have dinner out with 10% of your mates, especially for those first timers.. It was all about building on the day to come... True for those that have done a few it was not so important, but those first timers will miss out. Re Monday I have done 20+ IM dinners, done the sit down meals, IM WA nudey run, stand up cocktails in Cairns (BTW absolutely shit house for my 70+ year old mum and dad whom i bought a ticket for) , outdoor kona buffet, IM Swiss beer hall, NZ freezing cold rain influenced night.... All of which had a few memories.. Good and Bad... IM Aust awards still pulled a good crowd, had a few good stories and at least gave back to the athlete a bit. You can sit around a table in a room with 95% of your mates and enjoy a few yarns, look at a few picts (even your kids COULD see a picture of you) hear a few stories and cheer on those that excelled it is a great evening... Ben, try to keep some of the good stuff as you move on, I will hopefully see you on stage or at the Pub for #10 IMA
  6. Flanman - Got the nickname Newman off Seinfield, I used to be a UNIT with round glasses and looked like him, believe it or not. It has been a 15 year transformation. Toolish, Around 315w in lab 325w on road, I think some stats got screwed up as my Garmin lost my power pedals for the last 40min some how, this had little effect on ave but may have stuffed TSS, should be mid to high 200's like 270 ish?
  7. A few have asked me to post my 2014 Ironman Melbourne Race Report. Hope it provides some inspiration for those of you racing Port.. Good luck Newman Balmoral put it online here http://gallery.mailchimp.com/6d274d39a8e54211a6d64c4d6/files/2014_Melbourne_Ironman_1_.pdf

    port 2013

In again for No. 7.. Hope that 2013 is as good as this year.
  10. I bought some and have been using it since Jan into IM Aust and out. I think it helps the post training soreness. I don't care about the claimed gains, but i am going faster and will continue to use it... CEM, will be interested to hear how you go when you bump that volume up.
  11. I also got done by the bearded shot to kill TO!! I had no idea what i did wrong? No one near me at the time i was carded. Comment was "I saw you back there do...." ???? Bye bye 4+ min which hurt the sub 9:30 goal! Still powered on for 9:37. BTW - 3rd offence in 10 years, at least the other 2 penalties were touch and go.
  12. You can get a damn good bike for 2-300 USD.
  13. I can not get rid of the gaps.. Something wrong on this shit pc!
