  1. I see Cairns produced a Kona Qualifier with a time of 15.20 plus. Are there no qualifying times? Is is just done on position!
  2. Thanks Rimmer, I actually really like the look of that program. I am starting to think maybe I could just follow a generic program for my first and then think about online coaching further down the track. Decisions, decisions
  3. Awesome thanks Tyno, I will look into them. Obviously I didn't search very hard!
  4. No budget really (within reason lol). Well as it will be my first my main goal is to finish but I am pretty driven so I want to give my training the best shot I can and I am happy to be guided by a coach. With running I have used a coach for my marathons and I have enjoyed a more detailed training plan rather than just a generic one. I like to give and receive feedback along the way!

  6. Hi all, this is my first post to this forum. I have tried to search for an answer to my question but haven't really found what I am after. I am hoping to do my first half ironman in Sept '15. I mainly come from a running background but have trained with swimming and cycling plus done the odd sprint tri. I am looking for an online coach that can get me ready to complete a half ironman. I am very much a solo trainer and joining a club/squad does not really work for me, but I am very self motivated and will get the training done, I just don't know what sort of schedule to follow. I have run a few marathons this year so have an good running fitness base to work from and I figure 9-10 months should be enough time to build? I would be grateful for any recommendations for online coaches. Thanks in advance
