    Alright, I won't poopoo the accuracy thing... I'm 1 ml/kg/min from being superior! (is this good boasting?! ;)) Just checking out the graphs now... strong correlation between run volume and increasing VO2max. Although, the number of times the optical HR data is less than stellar...

    2.5km swim at lunch, 3 for the week. Going to the pool with a set plan definitely helps.

    I expect you to take a significant amount of time eyeballing all the bikes in transition. It was unreal to see the kit that everyone brings. I didn't intend to but spent over an hour just checking out setups, and how people manage their chosen equipment. Very very cool.

    I know for me, the effort of racing (and all the logistics that entails) means I want to at least improve, not just roll around. Having said that, I am the guy that races 1 long course and 1 sprint a season. If I raced more the emphasis on improving wouldn't be as high as the races would be more like stepping stones than tent poles. The main reason for me racing so few times is the cost. But at $25... that'd be money well spent.

    Haha, last 800m of the swim, all I wanted to do was be on the bike... last 60km of the bike, all I wanted to do was run... last 40km of the run all I wanted to do was.... nothing

    Swim yesterday included 20 x 100's @ 1:40/100m. I hadn't seen a 1:40 ever before the start of Winterfish. I tells ya, get on it come winter! Run this morning, 20 min easy, 7 x (3 min tempo, 2 min recovery), 20 min easy
