  1. And pictures / condition / crank length ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I had a look and they're sold out of the Omega SV (direct mount version). And they're still full price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Balls - the Q&A section on the CRC website said they would fit. Might have to save up for the tririgs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. That's what I was thinking CRC have them on at $60 an end at the moment. Any idea if there are any compatibility issues with sram brake leavers (tt500)? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm told that the Ultegra 6810 direct mount calliper fits on the Shiv. Can anyone confirm this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just pulled my race bike (2012 Shiv comp) out of the garage after missing all of last year through injury and discovered that the 'sworks' aero brake callipers are looking decidedly rusty. I cant remember them ever being particularly good so was thinking this might be a good excuse for a upgrade. I can't afford the lovely magura hydro ones that are being fitted to the new ones so what else is out there that will fit and not cost me a kidney? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I'm currently wearing nike free 12.5 so maybe about the same as a 12 in the altra Hiltz? Sock-less should knock the size down a little too? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. So are they more like a 12.5 US / 37 euro? I found the brooks 36 / us 12 a little tight. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Sorry - forgot to reply It's great to be honest. I use it on my daily commute through Sydney in summer and it's not noticeably any warmer than the giro aeon it replaced. I keep the shield/visor for races and haven't had any issues at all. You also don't look quite so much of a tool when you're a MOP'er as you would in a sperm lid. As far as not being approved - I've been racing in it all season and haven't been asked any questions. I'm not exactly at the pointy end of the field though so maybe officials aren't looking as closely...
  10. Nope - not a wind up. I run 4min kms in training and genuinely do run on my toes/fore-foot. Even with my calves/achiles getting progresively sorer i ran a PB on the 7km course in my brand new Newtons so there must be something to it. I wasn't injured just bloody sore and after swimming sunday and biking today i'm up for a quick 10ks tomorrow - in my Nike Free 3s
  11. So I finally jumped onto the Newton band-wagon and bought a pair of MV2s. I read the warnings/instructions on the box about the zero drop / negative sole and thought - I'm a fore-foot runner and have been running in Nike Free 3s & Brooks pure connect for the last year or two (so pretty minimal) that doesn't apply to me - I've read 'born to run.' Three days later and my calves are still feeling like someone has vigorously beaten me with an iron bar. next run I might stick in the 'optional' heal wedges....
  12. I got mine from Jenson USA - http://www.jensonusa.com/Mens-Helmets/Giro-Air-Attack-Shield-Helmet-2014 Couldn't find anyone stocking them in Oz or the UK last year, maybe it's changed a bit now...
  13. I normally run in Nikes but thought I'd try the Pure connect as a minimalist alternative to the free... By all accounts the last/sole on the pure connect2 is the same size as the previous model but the upper is tighter - I'd probably go up half a size on your normal brooks (unless you're already in some of the other "Pure" shoes)
  14. These ones - http://www.brooksrunning.com/PureConnect-2/110138,default,pd.html Although unsurprisingly Brooks were selling them for a little bit more in this country (I got them for $135 off D-store)
