Bourne
Jo Lawn is leading the womens with Monica Caplan not far behind
Bourne
QUOTE (novice @ Mar 5 2005, 10:43 AM)
Onto run - Brown 1st Sheldrake 2nd, Bjorn 3rd, Doe 4th, Van Wisse 5th?
Is that correct?

Nope not quite.
Cam Brown leads Kieran Doe and Stephen Sheldrake. Bjorn came into T2 in 4th but I'd say his race is over. John Van Wise will now be up 4th
Bourne
Kieran Doe rode 4:40:34 @ 38.49km/h
Cam Brown 4:40:47 @ 38.46km/h
Stephen Sheldrake 4:41:55 @ 38.31km/h

Clas Bjorling has just gone through T2 a little behind the leaders but he has a pretty strong. (2:42 last year)

QUOTE
Bjorn is riding back into town slowly, have blown out.

mines all over also.
I missed Bjorns blow out, then called him out of the race.
But Bjorn soldiers on, going for a finish.
he is on the run course even as we speak.

Nah!! he was gone before then.
It was the NSTC ride he did. tongue.gif
Timmy_K
Gordo was 16mins back from Cam Brown heading out of T2. Look for him to start reeling them in.
FatPom
Don't know if it's my gear or theirs but the audio is not very good. Cutting in and out. Don't remember this being a problem last year?
novice
Jo Lawn just about to finish the bike as first female.

My audio is crap as well - constantly cutting out.
novice
Scott Molina just heading onto the run?

Edit: 26th I believe.
FatPom
Tell ya what. You wouldn't want to be in Melb right now, it's pissing down!

I'm trying to check IMNZ and watch the F1 action at the same time. Pooter is in one corner and the tv is in another. Good job I've got a swivel chair tongue.gif
novice
I've got a laptop in front of the tv, pity I don't liike F1....

The coverage of IM is pissing me off - they said Caplan was second female in but cut out just when they announced how far a lead Lawn had!
Bourne
Monica Caplan was 3mins down on Jo Lawn
Bella Comerford is 3rd, 18 minutes.

After 10km Cam Brown is 1km in front.
Bourne
Jimmy C a 5:12 bike split (34.62km/h)
novice
Bella Comerford third off the bike and 18 minutes down from Lawn.
fiat
3.30 marathon and jimmy is in kona?? smile.gif

FatPom
Bloody hell! Go Jimmy. I would suspect Vernon won't be far away then, he was only 7mins behind Jimmy out of the swim
Bourne
jawa in also. with a 5:12 bike split
novice
What's Jimmy's race number?
novice
Claire Murray in 4th, Naomi Imaizumi in 5th
Plazbot
Aussies 347 in the Cricket. Weather looks fantastic. Carry on.
novice
Brown has 54 seconds on Doe, and Van Wisse has overtaken Sheldrake for 3rd!
Bourne
Jawa now heads the transitioners after having a quick T2 1:03 and is currently in 75th place (outright)
Jimmy lies in 78th.

Out of T2 Jawa and Jimmy where only seperated by 3seconds

QUOTE
What's Jimmy's race number?
275
novice
What's average transition time for Ironman?? Jimmy's transition times have been 6:49 and 5 :29 respectively. Jawa made up the difference pretty much just in T2!!
Reefmanburger
What run split was Jimmy looking for? In WA he did a 3.39
Bourne
Not sure Reefy. He didn't say.

Novice, average Transition times. T1 looks to be around 6mins (for transitioners)
T2 will probably be around 4+mins. It's a good time to take a toilet break, that way you don't have to interput your running pattern.

Cam Brown was 3:23 in T1 & 1:12 in T2
Kanangra
Great bike split by jimmy C. He is right on track. any news of big Chris? His swim was right on schedule. go the big fellow. Two Lapder's also racing, koppo and Barry. Go boys!
kamalarrowsmith
What name is AVAGO racing under, anything on him?
Bourne
I just added the lastest results on page 1.

shuffler has gone through T2
Kanangra
Koppo had agreat swim and bike and is out on the run now. big Chris not into T2 yet. He will be disappointed with his bike time. Mechanical issues?
Kanangra
dave Naylor from Ncle. is off the bike and onto the run.
FatPom
5.49.37 bike split for Vernon, position 296
Bourne
A couple more trannies through T2
JoR bike split 5:52:37
Newman bike split 6:03:04
Kanangra
Dan McGuigan rode 5 hours flat! with a 1:01 swim he is really well placed for another Hawaii slot this year.
Kanangra
Big Chris is off the bike in 6:07. He will be disappointed with that. He'll need a 3:30 run. Very difficult to do. He'll need to call on all his experience of over 100 marathons!
kamalarrowsmith
Clas and Gordo? No impact? I thought they would be getting closer by now.

JimmyC is right on target (please don't jinx him Kamal), sub 10 here would be amazing after 9:59 in WA.
Kanangra
If he can do it, it would be a far better result in my view.
canuck
Great work Bourne ! canadian.gif
Rocket

AVAGO 's bib number is 974 .

Swim 1:13 - no bike time yet.

Rocket
kamalarrowsmith
Yes Kanangra, harder course here. As you recall JC had to curtail the running pre Busso, He hasn't said a word here, which I take as positive. But he's 30-34 possibly hardest age group.
Aidan
Anyone else missing sound from their video??
Had sound before...
Bourne
I got nothing either Aidan. Haven't for a while.
Bourne
Speak of the devil it just came to life
Aidan
cancel that. Glorious, glorious sound now, thanks Greg Welch.
Ronnie

I have no audio either. Thought it may have been the media player update. Obviously not.

Bourne, just curious as to who will be doing your (this) job come IMA. Do you have anyone lined up yet?

FatPom
I've given up on the audio. I'm relying on 'Trevorvision' laugh.gif
Bourne
Cameron Brown still out and going strong with 14km to go
Good news though John van Wisse has gone up a notch and taken 2nd place 17mins behind Brown
Ronnie

How about that. Go JVW!!!!
