The performance claims being made are, frankly, ridiculous.

the 2-Spoke M5 wheels are claimed to save up to two and a half minutes over a ‘typical’ carbon three spoke wheel in a one hour time trial when averaging 51km/h.

That is the equivalent of a 50-60W gain in power output or a reduction in total rider+bike CdA of more than 12% over using say a HED trispoke.

I call bullshit.

I wonder what they mean by "typical carbon 3 spoke wheel"? Low quality with grinding bearings?

Bring back the Zipp 3000. They looked hot.
One day Zipp will swallow their pride and sell them a modern version again.
For those who don't know, Zipp say tri spoke wheels are slower than deep dish so won't sell them.

Watch any tour de France TT in the last 20 years or so. Most were won on the old specized tri spoke design. The same wheel that HED uses now.

what they are saying is that they don't own the patent HED bought off dupont/specialized for the H3.
