Further to Roxii's post, also good to see Jamie Turner finally getting some recognition.

Also good to see Snowsill finally getting some recognition for her gold medal - assume there was a 7 or 8 time period where she was not able to get into the hall of fame or a certain amount of years from retirement as an athlete.

And Pring, I worked with him down the beach, he was in a league of his own and an absolute trail blazer.  Absolute tragedy his life was cut short.

Snowsill deserves, Turner deserves, Pring deserves.

Have they given Macca and Crowie a trophy yet ?

Tried working it out but website isnt real flash, link kept coming up blank with the following and one of those 404 errors.

Our youngest took Emma to the airport recently, giving them a good chance to chat.

Turns out they share the same gut problem which forced Emma to retire - http://www.slowtwitch.com/Interview/A_chat_with_Snowy_the_Great_4796.html

She has been battling it for 2yrs now, but still manages to do a lot of exercise/running, though the treatment is uncertain.  For a pro-triathlete, it would be impossible to maintain the volume with this problem. Emma has offered her advice about what helped her if she needs it which is great.

Emma deserves an award for her consideration of the future of Aust triathlons by marrying and having a child with an IM & Olympic champ!

Should be a future gold medalist!
