Nothing much for a wee while. Stacked my new toy on saturday. Broke it a little bit. Broke myself a little bit more.

Probably just walking and easy stationary bike once i get past the sore head

Get well soon.

As part of the concussion test in the NRL, they make the player recite the months of the year in reverse. Many of them can't do it the right way  , so what chance do they have....

Yeh, I went over the handlebars one morning & split a helmet right up the centre. I had such a head-ache, and felt sick in the stomach. I was thinking that clearly, that after a 10 minute break sitting on a bus seat because I was dizzy standing up, I figured the best thing to do was ride the 40km home.

Can't believe I made it, without once falling off.

Yeah i rode home. Then went to hospital. They let me out this morning. But they had good drugs!

Great training today. I took my swimming coach to the dam and set the session for us.

 

She couldn't stand the cold, it decided to pull up short after less than 2km. She can't complain if I decide to pull up short next session in the pool.

6km run today including MFD. 1:11 on strava. Hopefully I'm no slower riding up on Sunday.

100kms with 1,600m vert yesterday and 75km with 1,200m vert doing Buttermans Track both ways today.

Cake, ice cream, beer, etc etc.

Bit tired now.

3.5km swim. Felt real good. This sleeping on my back may make my snoring worse, but my shoulder certainly feels the better for it. :)

Look after yourself Turts.  Just because you dropped the Turtle name doesn't mean that you now need to do everything flat out!

Finally thanks to Andrew #1 and his 'Winterfish' challenge I've finally got something worth putting in the training thread...  2.5km swim today - Go Me!

I've also been doing a few runs, but you wouldn't exactly call it training.

Yep lesson learned. I got a bit excited. Back to turtle pace for me. 

Although trying to get up in the morning i do feel like a turtle stuck on its back - tricky!

30min on indoor bike for me, with sling, just rolling the legs over

Ooooh Turts.. sounds like you've done a good job. Now we know youre ok - on  behalf of everyone,  bike ok???

Haha, yep it came off quite well. Little skewiff in a few places but easily fixed. And muddy. I definately came off the worst. 

Reckon i overdid it this morning. Got a bit excited. Again. Back to a walk tomorrow.

30 min gentle indoor bike. Gym spin bike. Sitting up. In sling. Once endone kicked in. Head feels better tho

I did my favourite run session.  Maccas accordion.    4 sets of 8 minute intervals with the first 3 mins at 10km pace and the 5 mins at half marathon pace.   No other rest in between.
