57km ride with a bike shop ride in the middle. Pace was mega high for me but once a month won't hurt. Great fun, nice people.

2 hrs all up.

Rode to gym,

4.5k rower

Upper and lower body stuff

2.5k rower

10min x trainer

Rode home

After 6 days off, felt like a limp noodle!

10 min turbo spin at the shop tweaking the new bike :)

First 1  warm up looked like something out of Month Pythons Ministry of Silly walks

Next 4 like a Sydney Melbourne Cliffy shuffle

Last 3 like Kate Bevilaquas winning IMWA finishing chute run

Have not posted here for ages. Fri - 3km swim: Sat - 12 km run; Sun - 80  ride. Isn't it a great morning in Sydney (Camden area). Lawns mowed yesterday. The smell is great.

60km ride this morning trying not to be part of a mass participation ride. Just nice not to be out there thinking when is the rain starting or its raining.

Did first FTP test last friday so trying to work out what it means against rides for the last 2 months since i got the powermeter. Based on watts/kg I'm an untrained beginner so so much for riding a bike for the last 25 years

42 min run.

Too windy to try new TT bike with aero wheels, and given what happened on the maiden voyage of my last TT bike, I ain't taking chances. :lol:

Short squad session this morning. 3km.

Main set was:

10 x 100s with each an easy 50 then sprint 50.

Then 4 x 25m no breathing, on the minute, then 200m steady, breathing 3, 5, 7.

Repeat 4 times.

 

Ribs were sore from breathing so hard at the end of each one.

Walked around a windblown hot sandy wheat paddock for 6 hrs .  Feel like some hideous beast out of The Mummy

Nah actually its an old dryland wheat block they want to turn to irrigated horticulture  (almonds). Im doing the environmental assessments.

 

Some blocks are stubble still. This one had already been tilled into a sandpit.

 

Needed low4 for a fair bit!
