No, that's true. She's getting 900k combined for BvS, WW, and JL. Cavell got 14mill for Man of Steel. Don't know what Affleck got for BvS. I like her best of the lot of them so far (of the DC characters/actors).

You can assume when this contract runs out she'll get more for her next one. Chris Evans got the same, $300k for the first Captain America.

I'll bet he's glad he only signed a 1 movie contract first up.

Took my daughter (4yo) to watch Coco on the weekend.

I wasn't expecting much but was really surprised at how good it was, and I think I may have actually enjoyed it more than she did.

We weren't that taken with it.  Went with a friend who couldn't find anyone else to go with, and was chomping at the bit to see it.  She can't be bothered going to the next.  While I've always been a King fan, I'm not really into horror movies.  My daughter loved it though.

An older movie now, but watched "Founder", based on the story of Ray Croc and McDonalds.

Really interesting story, but above all that, with every movie of his I see I am a bigger fan of Michael Keaton

I watched an older one on Amazon yesterday called 'Black Mass' with Johnny Depp and Joel Edgerton. Based on a true story of a Boston gangster. Thought it was very good.

Three billboards is an exceptionally good film.  One of the best I've seen in a long time no wonder at the GGs it won

  • Best actress - drama movie
  • Best film, drama
  • Best movie screenplay
  • Best supporting actor in any movie

....and was nominated for just about everything else.  A big thumbs up for woody harrelson in this one also - great performance

Jumanji 2 - it's really not that bad, I mean, if you HAVE to see a movie like this and you don't want to,  you will be pleasantly surprised.

Greatest showman - classic Hugh Jackman stuff - musicals are not really my thing but I didn't mind it.

Came across this movie on the weekend, didn't finish it yet but thought some of you might be interested

Interesting line in the trailer

"It's not a participation medal, it's a finisher medal"

Kinda like that :)

Went and saw The Post.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I was at Gold Class and was able to buy alcohol, I would have left mid movie.

Was dull.

Watched Grimsby again yesterday. Wasn't a fan of Borat/Bruno etc, so first time I watched it I wasn't sure what to expect. I absolutely loved it. There were parts where my wife & I were in tears we were laughing so hard. Very English humour. It won't be to everybody's taste, but we loved it.

Dale & Tucker vs Evil is another that had me in tears. It will probably appeal to fewer people than Grimsby, but it pushed all the right buttons for me, with the right amount of satire & slapstick, and it poked fun at a lot of the mainstream American college movies.

Death proof: for Tarantino fans, a must. This is really good. Really good.

Michael moore's Sicko. horrible doco on American Health system. Confirms I will fight tooth and nail to protect socialised medicine in this country. Insurance companies (of any ilk) are devil's spawn

It!

They forgot the Sh at the front

Kids werent bad but the script was extremely predictable. Scary Movie has ruined this genre for teenagers. 2 mins in and my 15 year old is sledging the director.
